My Bio
My name is Matheus, and I'm an art student from Rio de Janeiro.

I remember liking cartoons and games since forever! I would play a lot those plug and play video games when I was around 3 to 5 years old. That's before getting my first actual gaming console: a PlayStation One! Some years after that I got the PS2, and that must be my favorite console of all times! I had a blast with it back when I was a kid. I would gather my friends at my place and we would spend hours and hours playing that!

The same for cartoons! I always loved it, and I still love it! More than I do love series, that I barely watch to be honest. I remember getting back from school everyday and watching Cartoon Network. I liked Ed, Edd n Eddy, but I watched many other stuff! I also remember enjoying Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender, MLAATR, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, MLAATR, Johnny Bravo... there are so many I could make pages of this!

Around when I was 12, I decided I wanted to make games. I started to learn many different things, like using Adobe softwares and when I was around 14-15 years old I started to study in a Game school around here in Rio. However, most of its content was more art oriented, and I ended up falling in love with it.

Today, I'm down for anything: working on games, animations, whatever!!

Other Interests
I'm very into music. I've been playing the piano since I was 9 and I like to make some musical production for fun sometimes.
This is definitely the longest art block I have ever had in my entire life. I do not even recall correctly, but I believe it started at the beginning of this year. It is still going, but gradually getting better. Actually, compared to its peak, it is a lot better now. It was only in the last couple of months that I went back to do something digitally. Before that, I was mostly drawing on my sketchbook, trying things out, learning, and making a lot of mistakes. I found some new approaches that made drawing easier for me, and I have improved in human body construction, perspective and anatomy. Turns out I am a person who finds drawing forms easier than shapes. I have been playing around with drawing with boxes and it has taken me far. I find it much harder to stylize, though. Since more cartoony styles are many times more about shape than form, it gets complicated for me to get things right. My eye has developed a lot in this time, my hand couldn't catch up. I am starting to feel

You might not remember me. You might not even know me... I disappeared from DeviantArt for a while. I do not recall exactly why, but it is probably because it was not making much difference or doing me much good anymore. The engagement between me and other people regarding art and what I draw and post has been reducing, to the point my interactions online started feeling like talking to a wall. And I am not blaming anyone here, oh no! I don't think there is anyone to blame. Heck, I am not even sure if I can blame myself... It feels like I have been isolating my own self more and more with time. A little more than a year ago I would still have some online presence, sharing my work in an exciting way, showing my iterations of things I am passionate about, such as Sonic and other things. I would still talk to some people of the community and many of them would know who I am. I don't really remember when I stopped doing these things. This DeviantArt account got basically abandoned, and
